Tejaswani Home is situated in Kota Rajasthan where all the children coming due to different circumstances resides together in a supportive environment and enjoy a sense of belonging, and care for their own spaces.
Tejaswani Home has House -Mothers who work as the elder sisters to these children and provides them security , love, emotional support and stability that every child needs.
Our counsellors counsel the children who are traumatized or badly influenced to be aware of their acts and provide them a sense of security and emotional support to be able to come of that phase of life and lead a normal life.
Other staff also stays in touch with these children to provide any kind of help related to their medical health, their daily needs, education or entertainment.
Till date, over 200 girls have benefited from care, protection, health, education, entertainment, protection, guidance, rehabilitation, training and have tried to beautify their life. All girls go to school and those who cannot be sent to school, they are getting education from open school. Every effort is made to make girls self-reliant by providing vocational training..
Daily life:
Tejaswani Home is the place where these children feel their Home.
They are cared for 24/7 by full time staff in the Home, who live with them. Every morning, the children practise yoga in the garden guided by a house mother or the elder sisters. They play and study in the evenings after school. On weekends, they like to watch movies, read, or play games. We provide emotional support to them throughout their lives. We hope, the relationships and bonds created at Tejaswani Home with their sisters is will last them for a lifetime.
Care :
We at Tejaswani Home, wants each and every child to feel at home as soon as they come to the institution. By counselling them and listening to their stories, we prepare them to build their confidence and erase the hurtful memories they they have been living for many years. We provide themwith all the essentials and things of necessity on daily basis as per their requirement. We form individual bonds with all the children who form an important part of our big family. Each child has a unique personality and is treated according to the individual needs. We firmly believe that this approach will help erase memories of their painful past and instil a deeper sense of security. This also enables better integration of new children into the Tejaswani.
Health:
- Providing nutritious meals 4 times a day, starting with the morning tea or milk, then heavy breakfast, then lunch and then evening snack or brunch and then finally dinner.
- Providing primary health care to all the children as they enters Tejaswani Home
- After few days, they have been provided complete health checkup to diagnose any ailments and treat them actively
- To provide general medical care and support to our children, they are tested by the psychologist for mental health and counselling regularly.
- If any of the children is unwell, immediate medical assistance is provided by our in-house para-medical staff or a doctor, in severe cases.
- Regularly conducting health checkups

Education:
- The main goal of Tejaswani is to provide primary education to all the girls living there. Therefore, as soon as any girl enters they are attached to primary education after looking their interest.
- They are given high school training, other extra-curricular activities according to the interest of each individual children.
- Other girls with different interests are connected with vocational training, creative activities, computer learning activities, sports, indoor games. Libraries are available for free time for girl for learning, reading.
- For the children of higher classes, coaching facilities are also made available in the Tejaswani Home so that they will understand all the concepts clearly.
- Textbooks, workbooks, stationary and all other related item are provided as and when needed.
- From time to time, various activities and competitions were organized to enhance their career and interests which could lead to their overall development.
- Sex education is given to these girls so that they ate aware of any mis happenings and Self defense techniques are also taught.
